Horn Book Review
Based on the animated TV series, these re-imagined tales feature the Little Prince and cunning Fox. The two friends try to defeat the villainous Snake as he attempts to take over the universe, one planet at a time. The illustrations (produced by a design studio) and texts lack the charm of the original but might spark interest in de Saint-Exupiry's tale. Booklist Review
The Little Prince and Fox continue on their journey to save the universe from Snake. In this episode, the inhabitants of the planet Voltaine have lit up their city in an effort to protect themselves from the Globes, eyeball-shaped creatures that only come out after dark. But are the Globes really dangerous, or is the street-lamp seller up to no good? Still strong on artwork and light on character development, the Little Prince series is best for fans of Saint-Exupery's classic story and those who know the prince from previous volumes of the graphic-novel adaptations. Includes a bonus story by Olivier Supiot.--Volin, Eva Copyright 2010 Booklist
