Summary
Summary
This award winning series has been specifically designed for babies. A great introduction to books through well-known nursery rhymes and interactive text. Singing songs and rhymes is the perfect way to bond with your baby and share quality time. It also aids language development by introducing them to the natural sounds and patterns of speech. Combining these with actions also stimulates the brain and helps muscle development.

School Library Journal Review
PreS-These board books are appealing introductions to nursery rhymes. Most pages or spreads have just one line of text, allowing the soft, lively watercolors to take center stage. The rhymes stay true to the originals. One of the best aspects of the illustrations is that many different babies and toddlers are represented, including children with disabilities. In Hop a Little, one child wears an epilepsy helmet; in Humpty Dumpty, an eye patch; and Pat-a-Cake shows a child with a hearing aid. Great additions for sharing one-on-one or in small storytimes.-Lora Van Marel, Orland Park Public Library, IL (c) Copyright 2010. Library Journals LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Media Source, Inc.
